Leaders

Star is a 6 year old Alaskan Husky, born early in 2004, and has been running gee-haw lead since she started in-harness.  She's a natural and loves every minute of it.  She is great for training young ones and can be trusted to bring the teams home safely.  Stemming from sprint racing lines, Star has speed, endurance, and determination.

Sahara is a 4 year old Alaskan Husky, born January 2006, and has suffered a terrible past.  Abused and unwanted as a puppy, this dog has journeyed across a long path of rehabilitation and socialization.  Her saving grace? Running along-side Star leading a team of dogs over rough terrain and through difficult obstacles.

Sport is a 10 year old Alaskan Husky, born in 2000, and has run lead as a mentor for Star.  Patient, kind, and loving, Sport enjoys the company of puppies and his girlfriend, Star.  He is quiet, listens well, and is an excellent dog for beginners.

Wine is a 2 year old Alaskan Husky, branching from excellent bloodlines of Lou Serre Kennels.  He is fast, learns quickly, and enjoys his job.  Quiet in nature, he enjoys the company of other dogs and has a few human favourites.  His primary objective is to run to his heart's content.

Greenie is 6 years old, and has lineage dating back to the origins of the Siberian Husky.  Originally from Minnesota, Greenie has raced teams of Siberians over challenging courses.  Now, she leisures teams to the depths of nature's finest offerings.  Friendly and sweet, Greenie absolutely loves attention!

Saphira is a nearly 3 year old Siberian Husky and has been with us for nearly a year.  She has learned beside Greenie how to become a dedicated gee-haw lead.  She will befriend just about anybody, usually in the form of 'Husky Hugs' and many kisses.  She likes to be hugged back and doesn't mind sitting in your lap for that opportunity.

Sashimi, born and raised in our kennel, is a year and a half Siberian Husky and has the same smarts as her mother.  Trained by Greenie, both mother and daughter share a passion for leading.  With brains that get her into trouble, she spares no time in letting you know how smart she is.  Devious and talented, she is friendly, energetic, and extremely fast.

Kaila is a 2 year old Siberian Husky and the newest member to our teams.  She has the sweetest disposition and loves attention.  She enjoys the company of other dogs and likes to have detailed discussions with you.  Over the past winter season, she has shown great potential to run in lead and has picked up on her gee-haw commands very quickly!

Kodiak is a 5 year old Siberian Husky and quite the tease.  Staring you down to grab your attention and then bouncing away, he is playful and sweet.  He likes his face to be held in your hands, and will usually slip you a kiss right on the nose!  While he didn't meet the standards of a kennel in Quebec as a puppy, he has found a lasting home with us after being trained and loved by HuskyTown.

Maki is a 2 year old Siberian Husky and has been destined for lead, following in the steps of her family.  Fast and loyal, Maki is a friendly troublemaker.  Already getting herself into trouble by mysteriously getting loose, chasing calves, and eating calves' ears, she is proving to have quite a big of spunk hidden behind that small frame!

Team (Wheel/point/team)

Mia is a 5 year old Siberian Husky.  She is strong and willed, rarely dropping her standards when she has set her sights on a goal.  Determined and persistent, Mia aims to please and happily runs as wheel in our teams.

Nikka is an almost 3 year old Siberian Husky with bloodlines stemming back to David's Siberian (Bandit) from 20 years ago.  She is sweet and strong.  She likes to sit in your lap and enjoy massages and rub-downs.  Nikka is better placed in team position, but has started in wheel this year and has been learning very quickly.  While her short, stubby legs are some-what of a disadvantage for wheel position, her big heart encourages her to keep trying.

Mars is a 4 year old Husky/Malamute cross.  He was born and raised in our kennel and has always been a sweetheart.  He works hard in wheel, putting forth his greatest effort at every opportunity.  As if that wasn't enough, he is the biggest suck in the kennel, rolling onto his back the second you look at him.  Whining and smiling, he is happy if you are happy.

Casey is brother to Sashimi, but all the more different.  Strong and hard-headed, his efforts are best suited for wheel position.  He is incredibly strong and is capable of pulling extremely heavy loads over rough terrain for extended periods of time.  Despite his good looks, he is one of the friendliest and most caring dogs I've even known.

Valley is a 5 year old Siberian/Alaskan Husky cross.  She was born on Valentine's Day as an only-puppy.  This didn't stop her from becoming one of the strongest dogs in the kennel, putting her strength to good use in wheel.  Her bloodlines date back to the days of trapping, when dog teams were used to pull trapped game out of the rugged bush to the warmth of a small cabin.  Her extra long legs are proof of that, and she'll pull us through just about any trail, groomed or not.

Cartier is a 10 year old Siberian Husky.  In his younger days, he toured all over Northern Ontario, crossing some of the most barren and desolate lands of the James Bay, Cochrane, and Moosonee.  Cartier is definitely the biggest flirt and charmer of  the group.  With his piercing white-blue eyes, and his attention-seeking gurgles, he is hardly ever over-looked.  He eats, sleeps, and breathes to run on sled in wheel or team position.

Nuko is a one-and-a-half year old Siberian Husky and runs in team position.  His brute strength and excellent teamplay makes him a valuable addition to our teams.  Descending from bloodlines in the touring industry, he has known nothing but touring.  Running since he was 10 months old, he has been taking people on sled rides ever since.

Sumak is a two year old Siberian Husky and runs in wheel.  He is strong, determined and ambitious.  He puts forth his best effort with everything he does and does so with a smile on his face.  Sweet and friendly, this dog loves to give small kisses on your fingers and nose.

Braska is a 2 year old Siberian Husky and runs in team.  She is hyper, smart, and strong.  From a stand-still, Braska will jump an easy 6 ft in the air and land with the grace of a dancer.  Friendly and kind, Braska enjoys to give many kisses, and a lot of hugs.  Trained to jump into your arms on command, she is definitely a charmer.

Kika is a 3 year old Siberian/Alaskan Husky cross.  She runs in wheel and has power behind her long legs.  She is strong but sweet tempered, and loves to stand on your shoulders.  With an excellent personality and a friendly disposition, she is one dog you won't forget.
